I started writing about feminism three years ago, having spent a lot of my adult life thinking ‘hang on, that’s not right!’ about various inequalities facing  women.

I flit in and out of this blog. That’s often because I’m lazy, hunting down Yorkshire ales,  or striving in my quest to make the ultimate beef wellington. Other times it’s down to weariness, stemming from having to explain that, for example, street harassment is not just a ‘bit o’ bantz’ in a country where two women a week are killed by current or former partners.

So, be prepared for lots of #feminism here. I also stray  onto the topics of Scottish politics, music, gin, as well as rambling about how India is crazy (and awesome). Bear with me and know that I’m always open to chatting to open-minded people 🙂

  1. I’m glad I stumbled upon your blog while looking for a nice read on wordpress.
You have great entries. Very well written in a calm and coherent way on a topic that sometimes gets people a bit defensive.
    I’ll be following you!
